Positions Available:

Job Description: Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting and trust account records, financial statements, and IRA client trust reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Report monthly to management regarding financial statements (balance sheet, income, cash flow) of company. Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts for company financials. Develop, implement, and refine recordkeeping and accounting systems and processes. Develop, maintain, and analyze corporation budgets, preparing reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. Maintain and assist with modifications to Trust Accounting System transactions as well as system integrity and data flow. Provide clients with IRA UBIT (Unrelated Business Income Tax) consultation/education to assist with tax implications on their Trust Account activity.

Requirements: Master’s Degree in Accounting

Rapidly growing financial institution seeks sharp, self-motivated, and organized individual to join our team. A bachelor’s degree and experience in the fields of banking, finance, or investing are preferred but not required. Vacation, medical, dental, and retirement benefits available following six months of employment. Full-time position with hourly pay (starting compensation commensurate with experience). Our new client representative will provide outstanding customer service and client education via email, telephone, and face-to-face meetings. We thrive on exposing clients to new ideas and opportunities, but we do not sell investments or provide investment advice. The job requires significant phone time but NO cold calling.

Additional Qualifications

  • Basic office equipment knowledge (computer, copier, fax, multi-line phone system)
  • Computer literacy required (Microsoft, Adobe, etc.)
  • Excellent communication/customer service skills
  • Thorough and detail-oriented with a professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information
  • An enthusiasm for learning
  • Pass a criminal background check
