August 2018 Note from the Principals

We love telling the story of self-directed IRAs. It’s a story we feel everyone is entitled to. Like you, we were compelled to put our personal investment strategies to work in our IRAs for our long-term financial goals. 20 years ago, we garnered quality returns from our real estate investments while our retirement plans struggled in the stock market. We needed a way to unite our tried and true alternative investment strategy with the tax benefits of our self-directed retirement plans.

Before you discovered self-direction you may have enlisted the services of a stock broker or financial advisor who either didn’t understand alternative assets or stood to lose too many commissions by sharing the truth; we certainly did. Once we learned about our full spectrum of options and incorporated alternative IRA investments into our tax-advantaged accounts, we discovered a new level of freedom and developed a passion for helping others do the same.

This passion inspired us to create New Direction IRA. In so doing we have been privileged to assist other investors to take control of their retirement futures, and many of you have great success. Did you know that your success story may inspire others to succeed? We invite you to share your story and help others understand the opportunities that lie in self-directed investing. We’re beginning a webinar series that will allow successful investors like you to get the word out!

If you would like to participate in one of our fun and informative webinars:

  • You may contribute your success story with as much anonymity as you like.
  • You can be “on” the webinar right from your home or office, no need to travel.
  • We can adjust the format to one that suits you, an interview, a conversation, or other.
  • We're aiming for about 20-30 minutes in length, though the important part is the story, not the length.

Please contact our content editor at 877-742-1270 (Ext. 147) or ddocker@ndira.com if you’re interested in participating in our webinar series.

Warmly,
Bill Humphrey & Catherine Wynne
