November 2017 Note from the Principals

New Direction IRA is excited to announce the hiring of Alan Johnson as our Business Development Manager for the northeast region of the country. The addition of Mr. Johnson will boost our already impressive ground-based presence throughout the United States. As a Certified IRA Services Professional with over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, Mr. Johnson brings a uniquely high level of expertise to our company. While he will be primarily focused on cultivating relationships with self-directed investors and alternative asset providers in New Jersey, New York, Washington D.C., and other key business hubs on the east coast, Mr. Johnson will be a valuable resource for all New Direction IRA personnel.

As our institution advances among our peers in the field of self-directed retirement, we remain committed to our continued growth by onboarding high-level IRA professionals. Earlier this year, we hired Ryan Griffiths as our Director of Investor Services. Like Mr. Johnson, Mr. Griffiths’s background in the self-directed IRA business reinforces our capabilities in serving our clients on a daily basis. Mr. Griffiths has worked diligently to expose investors and vendors to the lucrative potential of tax-advantaged self-directed IRAs, and we look forward to the same from Mr. Johnson. They will interact with our staff to share their experiences and keep everyone up to date on the current events that affect the various alternative investment markets. As our business development and client relations teams accumulate this vital knowledge, we will become better equipped to educate our clients and expedite their investments.

Over the past several years, New Direction IRA has introduced new technology to optimize the self-directed investment process and defend your accounts from identity thieves. Mr. Johnson and Mr. Griffiths will help oversee these ongoing innovations to ensure the best possible experience for our clients. Please don’t hesitate to contact our office with any questions about self-directed investing or your alternative investment options.
